Two women resting in the sauna
Finnish Sauna

Built around the body, not the thermostat.

Authentic Finnish heat, with air you can actually breathe. Round after round.

Löyly · /ˈløyly/

The living wave of heat and steam that makes a true sauna.

Great löyly isn’t just high temperature. It’s heat that feels breathable, even, and sustainable round after round.

Most saunas are designed around a thermostat. Ours was designed around how you breathe.

What heat does to your body

It feels passive. Your body is working hard.

In a properly hot room, your body moves into thermoregulation. Four things happen at once.

01Circulation shifts toward the skin
02Heart rate rises
03Breathing increases
04Sweat takes over the cooling

Because you’re breathing harder, the air itself becomes part of the heat.

Why air matters

People leave because the air feels heavy.

In an occupied hot room, CO₂ climbs fast, and research links high CO₂ to lower clarity and comfort. So instead of sealing the room, we built it to exchange fresh air the whole time you’re in it.

<1000 ppm CO₂ Measured at head height on the upper bench, where you actually breathe.
How it’s built

One system, not a hot box.

Airflow, heater, wood and lighting were designed together, so the air, the heat and your body all agree.

RAPID sauna render
01 · Heater

Sized for reserve

Moving air removes heat. An oversized heater holds 180–195°F while fresh air keeps flowing.

02 · Even heat

No hot ceiling, cold floor

Heater placement and airflow spread heat across every seating level, so your head doesn’t cook before your body warms.

Craftsman marking sauna wood
03 · Wood

Thermally modified

Sauna-grade wood chosen to stay stable through years of heating and cooling. Cleaner, and it doesn’t warp.

Warm indirect lighting
04 · Light

Calm by design

Bright, blue light keeps you alert. Ours is warm, indirect fiber-optic, with the electronics kept outside the heat.

Sauna master waving a towel during an Aufguss session
Aufguss · Guided class

The German ritual, live.

A trained sauna master leads a 10–15 minute session [confirm]. Water and aroma go on the stones, then the heat is moved through the room with a towel, wave by wave.

01Infusion. Water and essential oils over the hot stones.
02The towel. Löyly is pushed through the room in slow, deliberate waves.
03Cool down. Straight into a rapid-flow plunge, then rest.
